Official Contest Rules: 

Fire Extinguisher Giveaway

1. Sponsor: Prairie Grass Fire and Safety Ltd. 5421 Portage Ave, Headingley, MB R4H 1H8, Canada ("Sponsor").

2. Eligibility: The Fire Extinguisher Giveaway ("Contest") is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 19 or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, or agents of the Sponsor, its affiliates, or immediate family/household members of such individuals are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

3. Entry Period: The Contest begins on October 13, 2025, at 12:01 AM CDT and ends on October 24, 2025, at 11:59 PM CDT ("Entry Period").

4. How to Enter: No purchase necessary. To enter, visit https://www.prairiegrassfireandsafety.ca/contest and complete the entry form with your name and email address. Limit one (1) entry per person/email address. Additional entries may be deemed void. Optional actions (e.g., liking, commenting, or sharing on Facebook or LinkedIn) do not increase chances of winning but may be encouraged for engagement. Use of automated entry methods (e.g., bots) is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

5. Prizes: Two (2) prizes are available:

• Grand Prize: One (1) 10lb ABC Fire Extinguisher (approximate retail value: CAD $100).
• Second Prize: One (1) 5lb ABC Fire Extinguisher (approximate retail value: CAD $60). Total approximate retail value: CAD $160. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable.

6. Winner Selection and Notification: Two (2) winners will be selected via random draw from all eligible entries on October 25, 2025. Winners will be notified via email within 48 hours of the draw. To claim the prize, winners must respond within 5 business days and may need to sign a release form. If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, or is ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Prize Pick-up: Prizes must be picked up at Prairie Grass Fire and Safety Ltd., 5421 Portage Ave, Headingley, MB R4H 1H8, Canada during business hours; 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, within 30 days of winner verification. Valid government-issued photo identification in the name of the verified winner must be used to claim the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for unclaimed prizes after the 30-day period.

8. Privacy and Consent: By entering, you consent to the Sponsor collecting and using your name and email for contest administration and winner notification, per Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). If you opt-in to receive marketing emails, you agree to Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) terms and may unsubscribe at any time. 

9. General Conditions:

• The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook or LinkedIn.
• Entrants release Facebook, LinkedIn, and the Sponsor from liability for any loss, damage, or injury related to the Contest or prize use.
• Sponsor may disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or violate these rules.
• The Contest is subject to all applicable Canadian federal, provincial, and municipal laws.
• In case of dispute, Sponsor’s decisions are final.

10. Winner Announcement: Winners’ names (first name, last initial) may be announced on Sponsor’s social media and/or website after verification, unless prohibited by law.
